Cucuron

Cucuron is a very authentic village, located at the foot of the Luberon. Benefiting from 300 days of sunshine per year, it is the ideal starting point to explore the South of the Luberon.

Take your time to stroll through this village dating from the Middle Ages. You will discover its ramparts, its gate towers, its belfry, its dungeon and its central basin, called « the pond ». The pond is located on the village main square and is an unmissable postcard. It will certainly make you fall in love with this typically Provencal and unique village, as it did for me.

This is where you will enjoy the tuesday morning market, pleasant and cool in summer thanks to the shade of plane trees.

Beautiful surrounding villages and towns are also worth visiting: Lourmarin, also nicknamed the little Saint-Tropez of the Luberon, Ansouis and its magnificent castle, Aix en Provence only 45 minutes away by car.
